I never really thought about hiring a car in Spain before. Every time I would go to the sun drenched Iberian nation for fun, pleasure or a combination of the two I would just take buses and stuff if I wanted to get around the place. I would just not have a car, hiring a car in Spain had just never occurred to me. It turns out that with car hire Spain is even better.
Well, this time is different let me tell you. I have been in Spain for a couple of days now and it seems like all I have been doing is hiring cars. Car hire is a good way to obtain a vehicle, without buying it, for a few days. It almost always works out cheaper than getting a taxi to drive you everywhere you want to go.
I love Spain and I love hiring cars, there I said it. From the filling in of extensive insurance documentation, to the feel of settling into an unfamiliar vehicle in a country whose driving laws are strange and alluring, the whole process of hiring in Spain is absolutely delicious.
Without having decided to pay for car hire Alicante would have been the disapointment that any journey without a motor car surely is. Alicante is a modern sort of place, the kind of place with roads. Hire a car in Alicante and you can drive on those roads. Car Hire + Spain = epic win!!
